Louboutin for men in Paris

Twenty years after Christian Louboutin opened his first store in Paris, selling heels with his signature red soles, the designer has moved a step forward with one just for men, at 19 rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau. The demand of men’s styles in his women’s store next door was so much that he had to open a store only for men shoes.
The shoes are obviously very expensive but whoever can afford it can even use the custom service in which his tattoo can be replicated as embroidery on a shoe!

Miu Miu parties in Barcelona

Following its recent opening in Madrid, Miu Miu has opened its first boutique in Barcelona, strengthening its presence in Spain! Miu Miu’s store in Paseo de Gracia of Barcelona is located in the heart of the luxury shopping area of the Catalan city.

The italian fashion house has found the perfect space, that spans over two levels, covering 400 square meters, and where you can find its ready-to-wear collection, shoes, accessories and bags.

Roberto Baciocchi is the architect responsible of the design of Miu Miu’s project in Barcelona. The products in the store are displayed like one-off pieces of fine jewellery! On the ground floor the shoes, the bags and the accessories are displayed giving the impression that everything is in a safety deposit box. And the first floor is dedicated on ready-to-wear and footwear in a amazingly elegant atmosphere.

The information of the new store can be found below:

Versace for H&M

The date of launching the Versace for H&M is coming closer and Donatella reminded it to us by wearing a dress of the line at the end of the Versace men’s show in Milan Men’s Fashion Week!

The collection will be big and include two rollouts, one on November 17th including men’s, women’s and homeware, and another collection on January 19th. The line consists of “iconic” archive Versace pieces repurposed for H&M. What we will basically see is a lot of dresses, from silk, studded leather and colourful prints, high heels and costume jewellery. The men’s line will, apart of suits, include belts and jewellery. And the homeware pieces include cushions and bedlinen.

Let’s see the prices of the collection…and decide if we could buy anything!!! :)

It’s not the first time Pilati has been rumoured to be leaving the french fashion house…so we will see!!!

Kate Moss and Fred...

Kate Moss, after designing for Topshop and Longchamp, decided to create a collection for Fred, the LVMH owned french jewellery label.
Kate’s tattoos inspired the collection, which includes 22 pieces,  hearts, diamond anchors, crescent moons and stars, made from gold and precious stones. The line launches October 1st and will be sold only in France, on Fred’s e-boutique and at the in store Fred shop at Harrod’s.

Chanel and the new book

In LA, West Hollywood, it was celebrated a new limited edition of Justine Picardie’s biography “Chanel: Her Life” designed and illustrated by Karl Lagerfeld. The book is the story of Coco Chanel creating costumes for Liz Goldwyn's grandfather, Samuel Goldwyn, for his movies in the thirties, their friendship and his early recognition of Coco Chanel.

The audience included Marisa Tomei, Jena Malone, Monet Mazur, Lydia Hearst-Shaw, Karla Welch, Jeremy Scott, Frankie Rayder and Michele Hicks. The talk between the author and Liz Goldwyn was held in the Soho House screening room and was followed by dinner on the roof. The gift bags included a signed copy of the book and a bottle of Chanel No.5!!!!

It’s a pity I live sooooo far from LA..lol!!!!

Burberry Prorsum SS’12

London’s Fashion Week and where to start from…now that all is calmer and I can think clear..there is one thing to say, the Burberry Prorsum collection for SS’12 is amazing!!!
The colours are amazing and I can see a hippy side in this collection, which by the way I really like! Prints that show the tribal trend that’s already on and hats that might be the new trend…
